Black,White and Green Card

When I read the challenge Black, white and one more color and this snap came to my mind instantly.

This picture was taken last year .I know only one name of this bird  "Dayal" ,don't know what its called in other parts.I just loved the black and white bird on green backdrop.I always get inspiration from my garden be it color combination or concept for card.So I decided do make a card based on this snap. Here it is ..

I stamped  green background with a leaf .The bird was cut out of black velvet paper and white
chart paper and embossed it slightly to give fuller look .Finally added a white tail feather (again from my garden). The sentiment is computer generated. It did not turn out as good as the original image ! After all Nature is greatest artist !

  12. This is just gorgeous! And thank you so much for your very kind comment on my blog, Pooja. I’ve been very pleased with the positive response to my quilled picture, as it is so very different from the traditional styles of quilling that are used to create flowers and butterflies. I like to be different! And I really do appreciate your support.
