Purple Tulips

I saw tutorial for paper tulips here.Followed it for making  tulips only difference is that these are not made of paper !

The flowers and leaves are made of dried corn skins.Initially I was going to make paper tulips ,then i spotted these dried corn husks which I had kept for drying few days back. They have texture like crepe paper and transparency like butter paper.I cut out petals ,leaves and then colored them purple and green .Finished of with silver ribbon and a bow, button and a metal bead .sentiment is handwritten.A big Thank You to Chris and Manulea for  their useful tips and suggestions.
