Card for Wedding

For this card I have misted the background using water colors, made stencils by cutting some hearts shape out of scrap paper.

The bride and groom are hand drawn and colored with water color pencils.

Added some gauze bandage above and below the pictures to give some delicate texture.Quilled some flowers and leaves around the images

The sentiments are handwritten.I had planned to print it but  later thought lets try to write it.So,observed how each alphabet is written and then copied it on paper ! I have used pink glitter pen for the stitched outline.
Now lets see how it looks when opened ..

Yes ..one more pop-up card !

I have used bride and groom digi from Milk N Coffee digital stamps and colored with water color pencils. All the flower arrangements and decorations for this cute wedding were done by me.flowers, bouquets hand drawn and hand cut ! paper scraps from old invites were used for the pop-ups.I have drawn some hearts and colored them with water color pencils for background.I have also used fruit packaging net for decoration and vellum for ruffles. The  techniques used are sliding floor pop-up,spring pop-up and the simple pop-up.

I have to thank two wonderfully talented ladies for this card (No marks for guessing !!)
The card front (misting )was inspired by Yvonne. She does magic with misting ! I am fan of  amazing backgrounds she creates for layouts ,cards and mix-media projects.
And the pop-up part was totally inspired by Dr.Sonia .She creates magic with pop-ups ! I admire her interactive cards  and  have followed her tutorials for this card .

Thanks Yvonne and Dr.Sonia !

Very cute card, love the inside and the gauze 'veil' looks very innovative!
Not really sure whether the card qualifies, the task is to make a frame... need to discuss that with the dt members, what they decide. But anyway, lovely card with all the gorgeous details!

  35. You have done so much that I am quite amazed. The heart stencils is an amazing idea. How clever of you to have hand drawn the images and used gauze over it .I did puzzle over it until I read how you got that unique effect. The hand written sentiment is also very pretty. The inside of the card looks even more gorgeous. Like a stage set. Really amazing !!!
