Diwali Bloghop 2013

Hello friends !! Welcome to Diwali Bloghop organized by Chaitali , We  will be sharing Diwali themed projects with you to make your diwali even more exciting  ! I am very happy to be part o this blog hop, all thanks to Chaitali ! I have a paper lantern to share, which I have made for this Diwali.

This one is my second attempt.Taking inspiration from here I made a carousel shaped paper lantern(cylindrical)  complete with roof n danglers and  as I was about to tie it,it looked as if someone had kicked it  :( !! No matter how much support I gave for stiffness..it went from bad to worst !!

To be on safer side I made a rectangular carousel(I know rather unusual !!).Instead of using just chart paper n kite paper I also used packing cardboard so now the base structure (similar to a box with windows) is very sturdy . I have hand drawn the horses and did the cutting, all sides are similar. .here is how it looks in daylight .

Its a Diwali bolg hop so how can it be without gifts?? The blog hop is  sponsored by There She Goes and you can win Henna Swirls stamp set.All you have to do is hop along each stop and leave comment on the bloghop post and Chaitali will pick 2 lucky winners from comments left on all our blogs , You have until 9 PM EST, November 8 2013 to comment on the blogs !You must have a arrived from Deepti's blog  if not here is the complete bloghop list
