Yes.. Back to Shabby card :) !!
I started with a pp with delicate design,Distress Ink and a diecut lace border.

I have used Distress ink  as water color to create the drips on pp.Inked the border die-cut on edges and layered it on a golden glitter paper strip.

Feathery CAS card

card front

Hello friends.. sharing a Simple card.
Stencil & misting

I had used peacock feather stencil for my previous card and when I was done with misting ,the stencil had lots of color on it,Yvonne 's tip of lifting residual mist came handy and I misted the stencil with water and pressed a cardstock over the stencil n then lifted it. I loved the result so much that I repeated it till the stencil had no color on it :) .Today's card has one of the card stock piece...

Side view

I have used handmade paper as base for my card and then layered it with blue cardstock.Attached the residual mist panel with foam tape for dimension.

side view
Used a ready made sentiment label.Still something was missing...

Single page Wedding card

Wedding card front
Hello friends..I am back with an interesting card..Its a single page wedding themed card ! Unlike my previous wedding card..Its more Indian :) Our Indian weddings are very colorful n GOLD is very prominent..!! So I went for bold colors and gold  rather than all white and soft shades..

side view(Oops just saw the thread....sorry !)
The whole idea behind using vellum was to show the inner design partially .I guess it became more opaque..can you spot the design ??

As its a single page card So where to write the wishes for couple ?? No worries open the vellum envelope..
Envelope with tags
It has two tags held together with a U-pin...first one has misted peacock feathers (symbolic couple !), we have another blank tag for writing the message.I have used peacock feather stencil received from Lessology  for misting .

Would you like to see how I made this card ?? check this..

Step by step process
I recently bought paper punches and handmade papers and created the roses using them.Does this floral cluster looks  familiar ?? Some what like the beautiful floral clusters Yvonne creates on her projects..? That is bcoz the lovely velvet leaf is from her RAK (See I am using it finally :) ) Along with it I have used silk trim, pearl lace , doily, fruit packing net(its stapled to the doily hidden below blooms :) ) and yes GOLD glitter paper cut ! Can you read the sentiments stamped on gauze fabrics here ? One says "Congrats" while other "love".
Floral cluster
I made a box envelope for the card , kept the design simple just stamped the design with roller stamp (received from Technique Time Tuesday ) with distress ink .

Monochromatic Congrats

water-colored card
Hello friends..how are you ?? It feels so nice to post after a break, ya I didn't craft or blog last month.I am back with a monochromatic card that has water coloring  !

Side view
I was Lucky to win a spot in Online card classes : Water-coloring (Thanks to Joni !!). I watched only few videos and they were awesome ! As it has  life time access I plan to watch the videos later and then try the techniques shared .To start with I followed the painting technique shared by Tasnim Ahmed  to color  the flowers.

Side view
I loved how this technique allows the colors to blend naturally which gives softness to the petals.Initially I painted only one flower and enjoyed coloring so much that I drew few more flowers :D ! I need lots of practicing still I liked the outcome.

card lying flat
I filled the space between flowers with darker color...It should have been lighter what do you think ??

Supplies used :
Camlin water color pencils
Clear Stamp set : Fiskars Simple Expressions
Watercolor paper : RAK from Sathya (Thanks a lot !)
