I keep seeing so many beautiful and intricate die-cut butterflies on various cards ,and was inspired to try n cut one .
how is it? 2.5" wide ,kept it large to be on safer side.
|Crushed velvet flock|
For the background I applied texture paste through stencil and then sprayed LSG starburst spray in the center.Layered gauze then handcut ,heat embossed oval frame.Adhered the butterfly in center of the frame.
For the base drew strips with water color pencil on scrap paper and went over it with damp brush.Tore the scrap in center and curled the edges.
Embellished with small handmade flowers and leaves.Stamped the sentiment on paper strip and adhered it on the card with foam tape.
