New Year card with Spotlight Technique

As we are move to the end of this year ..lets just focus on beautiful memories and let the not so good ones fade away !

Wondering what it has to do with the Today's card ?? Its the thought I wanted to depict using "Spotlight" technique !

This technique has been on my must try list for long.I started by stamping the hyacinth from Jane's doodles Spring Blessings stamps set with memento summer sky ink and made a mask with scrap paper for coloring only the circular part.

Used blue water color pencils for coloring and stamped the sentiment from Tim holtz blueprint stamp with archival ink.Adhered the panel on card base using foam tape and finished off with few rhinestones.
