Background piece with texture paste applied through stencil over it. |
Gave a coat of Gesso and glued gauze bandage strip ,lace and few handmade flowers.
Time to add some color.I used a pigment powder that is used to make colored water for playing holi (festival of colors for my non Indian friends) ! Mixed the powder in plain water and applied on the card.
Applied gesso to tone down the colors in some areas.Added few hand cut leaves to the floral spray.Splattered the left over colors, white paint.Layered the piece on colored paper and adhered it to the card base. The sentiment is print out .
