Sharing a One layered birthday card today.I was inspired by Kelly Latevola's card shared here.Well Kelly's cards are far more neat and beautiful then mine, my card is a messier version ;)I have few step photos ..
I started by applying traditional tube water color (Camelin Artists water colors) on a acetate sheet diluted them with water before smooshing it onto wet water color paper.I used yellow & pink colors.
After the panel was completely dry stamped the flowers with masking (Studio katia- Together we bloom). The flowers were not standing apart from the bg.So stamped some text and added more color around them.(started getting messier ;)
Made some black dots to separate the floral design from bg.The sentiment is also from Studio Katia stamp set (Birthday lions)
Made a matching envelope.I did not to add any sequins or enamel dots to keep the card simple,A sequin or two might have looked good ..what do you think ?
