Anniversary card.

Looks like a simple shaker card ?Take another look ..

Nothing different ?Let us open it …!

Sentiment outside and images inside !
I was itching to color these hydrangeas (In Bloom : Addie's garden -Winnie & Walter) ever since I got the stamp and no-line water coloring being the only form I know I went for it! I have used traditional water colors (Camlin Artist Water Color) for coloring, I need to practice a lot to achieve realistic look! After coloring I masked the flowers and leaves and blended grey ink in background and ended up with a mess!

I had to do something to get rid of the ugly bg So I cut out the flowers and leaves.

Plain bg didn’t look good either I ended up stamping few more hydrangeas in gray.

It’s inspired by Heather’s card again!

The sentiment is from the big, the bold and the Happy (Winnie & Walter).

  5. Very clever and creative. Love the plain hydrangeas in the background, super idea. Great shaker element, which is the usual surprise - but certainly not here!

  8. Wow, Pooja! I'm blown away by your gorgeous Anniversary card. The front alone is lovely, being a shaker style. You've kept it subtle with that vellum front only showing the shadowy shapes through it and giving a hint of what is coming inside. What can I say about those wonderful hydrangeas? Your colouring is amazing. They pop off the page and appear to be real. Beautifully done! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
