Reusing after long !

Hello friends ! A post dedicated to reusing  after a long gap (again !)
If you love handmade flowers and shabby chic style then its a treat for you today and if like me you too love reusing ,a double treat! Thanks to current challenge at papericious, some of the packaging boxes that have been stashed in my cupboard for ages got decorated (finally)! All of them more or less the same, pretty patterned papers from femina paper (Papericious)pack,criss-cross chipboard, handmade flowers and few embellishments.

Started with this drawer box,

Covered with a pink pp from the pack, coat of gesso followed by crackle paste to add some texture.

I wrapped masking tape around a wire to create a coil, used criss cross chipboard and decorated with flowers and leaves!

This box had some more probable candidate to be reused.

Made a gate fold card and tag using them. Used white and gold foil paper.I have added distress ink to texture paste to get a lovely mint paste.flowers have a coat of gesso.

Here is , how it opens

A shaker which says bloom together ,goes well with anniversary theme.

A tag to write message. All tied with a jute twine from papericious.
Next I reused another packaging box and made a gift bag.

Used the lovely gray pp with gold foil dots .

A generous amount of gesso and white acrylic paint splatters !

Hope you are still reading..just one more to go ;)

I have used corrupt CDs,shirt packaging to make a round box.I also used papericious packaging for layering on the top(Not visible in the pictures).

All the flowers were sprinkled with sparkling dust from Dress My Craft,I loved how it enhanced the look of the flowers.

I have used Lindy's magical shakers to color all the handmade flowers.

Hush..done with the post! I hope the packaging from your stash too gets some makeover!!
