Back to Watercolored Florals !

Hello friends this space has been quiet for long as card making has taken a back seat. I am sharing a floral card today(yes a floral card I !! did try to stay away from them for a while ;) )

No line watercoloring with Altenew Enchanted Irises.I have used a mix of distress inks and Catherine Pooler inks for colouring .

The sentiment is from Hope and Thanks Stamp set (Power poppy)

  9. oh my GOODNESS, Pooja! Just when I think you cannot POSSIBLY out-create yourself, you surprise me with another fantastic beauty that is beyond what I can even imagine! Pooja, this needs to be framed (as do many of your creations). I would enjoy having this in a larger version in my home since irises do not grow here in Florida. It reminds me of my childhood days in southern California (on the west coast of US). My sister's godmother not only grew irises, but hybridized them as well. Her background was row upon row upon row of labeled iris plants. As a child, I would walk up and down the aisles marveling at the velvety gorgeousness of each flower, and watching bees and butterflies pollinate them. so lovely. But I must say, not as lovely as your watercolored, no-line altenew creation. It's a masterpiece! Thanks for sharing your artwork, and for bringing out the loving memories. hugs, de
